Hot off the neurons: I had a fantastically strange dream last night about a small town that one could reach only by taking a small tug boat through a swirling underground river and then going through the back door of an, apparently, subterranean supermarket (a Safeway, in fact). The town seemed quite normal except that the people there lived in constant fear of yetis. I was walking near the edge of the town and I happened to see a yeti running along a road that circled the town. The yeti was jogging, wearing sneakers and light blue running shorts, and he carried a large club made from a tree trunk.
To avoid being noticed by the yeti I jumped into a nearby lake; but swimming in the lake was a tiger that quickly came at me—bubbles came out of his nose as he swam. I shouted at the tiger, "no, you are a lion!" and instantly the tiger became a lion. Then I shouted, "Stop, there is a zebra!" And poof! There was a zebra (although it was brown and black instead of the normal zebra pattern). The lion quickly changed course and soon had his jaws clenched around the zebra's throat. While he was distracted I escaped into a nearby playground in which outdatedly goth teenagers were chasing each other with stun guns.
